Pay it Forward!

So when I worked at Beans & Brews, once in a while we had a customer that would come through the drive thru and pay for the customers drink in the car behind them.  I always thought the whole "pay it forward" thing was just a big hoax, just to make people feel like they were getting good karma or something...

I went to Starbucks today (sorry Beans & Brews), and ordered my usual Venti Iced Coffee with 4 pumps of white mocha, extra ice, and a dash of cream. I noticed the girl ringing me up was a little uneasy, so i asked what was wrong.  She was frazzled because she had accidentally charged me for the car behind me instead of my own order. It was a total of 4.67 for two kids drinks (she obviously had two screaming children in her car).  I decided, what the hell, its payday, I'll pay for theirs too.  So I did it.  4 something for the kids drinks, 3 something for mine. The girl at the drive thru was so happy when I paid for both and tipped her 5 bucks to cheer her up, it made it all worthwhile :)

So there it is, I paid it forward. Now KARMA, hit me up sometime :)
